Apple Crisp Gone Spiralized

Ingredients

Filling

  • 3 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt

Topping

  • 3/4 cup oats (I use gluten free)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan Salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • sprinkle brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cook spray.

  2.  Spiralize apples with spiralizer.  In a large bowl add coocnut sugar, lemon juice, corn starch, cinnamon, and salt.  Toss with spiralized apples and transfer to baking dish.

  3.  In a mixing bowl combine oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon and salt.  Mix in melted butter and crumble over apple mixture.  Sprinkle top with brown sugar.


  4. Cook for approximately 50 to 55 minutes, until apples are soft, filling is bubbling at edges, and top is golden brown.  Cool at least 5 minutes before serving.
